A predictive site survey is performed remotely and is the first step in designing a new/upgraded wireless network.

However, an onsite survey is performed to either identify issues with an existing Wi-Fi network or validate the performance of a new network following deployment.

Given our extensive experience designing Wi-Fi networks for various industries and requirements, an AP on a site survey is generally not required.
